An assisted living facility is a senior living option for those who are in need of assistance with daily living yet aim to live as independently as possible. There are many different types of senior living; an assisted living would fall between an independent living community and a nursing home. An assisted living home offers 24-hour monitoring of its residents and various support services such as medication administration or bathing while providing the resident with more freedom and privacy than a nursing home.

At Winnifred Assisted Living our goal is to provide excellent care to our residents while allowing them to live in a home-like environment. It has always been Tameka’s dream to open her own residential care facility for the elderly. Tameka is passionate about caring for her residents as she would her own parents; her mission is to ensure that Winnifred Assisted Living residents live with dignity and independence.

Tameka is presently a registered nurse. With several years of experience working in a hospital, nursing home, and other assisted living facilities. She is well equipped with a wealth of knowledge for your loved ones.
